Advisors

The educators guiding this team.

Kyle Hamilton, Southern Huntingdon CHAMP advisor

CHAMP Advisor

Kyle Hamilton

Mr. Kyle Hamilton started his teaching career at Southern Huntingdon County High School during the 2019-2020 school year. However, his first time being involved with CHAMP was actually the year prior, when he taught at Juniata Valley High School. Coming from Penn State, Mr. Hamilton was familiar with student-run, philanthropic organizations because of THON, so helping with CHAMP at SHC felt natural. The expectations for the first CHAMP event as an advisor were low, but to the surprise of many, SHC did extremely well with fundraising and they won the CHAMP Cup - their first ever! From then on, SHC has done well with fundraising under the guidance of Mr. Hamilton and other critical partners within the southern end of the county. These partnerships have allowed the SHC Captains to give back to their community, helping countless families in need along the way.
